A MESSAGE TO PARENTS & STUDENTS

The Food Services Department at Anderson Union High School District believes that good nutrition, along with a healthy active lifestyle go hand in hand with the ability to learn. Well nourished students have higher test scores, increased school attendance, improved concentration, and improved classroom behavior. Students who are physically fit, sleep better and are better able to handle the physical and emotional challenges that they encounter during the day.

Our Nutrition Services Department is made up professionals that are dedicated to your students health and well being. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

We provide students with access to a variety of appealing entrées alongside a variety of delicious fruits and vegetables daily.

Anderson Union High School District provides nutritionally balanced breakfasts and lunches daily by following the guidelines of the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. Our Nutrition Services Department is committed to serving your student.

Should you have any questions regarding Nutrition Services, please contact Chalynn Dotzenrod at (530) 378-7000 ext. 7104.
